Tottenham duo see their transfer values plummet more than almost anyone in England

One Tottenham man has seen the biggest drop in his market value across the Premier League in the past 12 months, while another Spurs star has seen his value drop the third most in the same period.

While Spurs managed to avoid disaster on the final day of the season by staying in the Premier League, back-to-back 17th-placed finishes have proven costly for the club.

According to reports, almost £20m was wiped off Tottenham’s estimated sponsorship value ahead of the new season, with Kumho Tyre having already ended their association with the North London club.

Unsurprisingly, Spurs have also seen the market value of their squad go down, with a couple of their most valuable players seeing a sharp decline in their market value.

Tottenham duo Dejan Kulusevski and Micky van de Ven see huge drops in value

Dejan Kulusevski has been sidelined with a knee injury for more than a year, and unsurprisingly, his value has plummeted the most over the last 12 months.

In fact, as per Transfermarkt, no player in the Premier League has seen that drastic a drop over the last year, with the Swede seeing a €18m (£15.5m) decrease.

Despite having a strong end to the season and avoiding any major injuries across 2025-26, Micky van de Ven has seen his market value drop by €15m (£13m), which is the third most of any player across the division.

Kulusevski is making progress but return date remains unclear

According to reports, Kulusevski has injured his cartilage in an area prone to stress, and the attacking midfielder’s injury is thus not healing as fast as hoped.

With the 26-year-old not included in Sweden’s World Cup squad, he now has a couple of months off to build his fitness up ahead of the new season.

Earlier this week, Kulusevski shared videos of himself working with the ball, which has given Spurs fans some optimism that the former Juventus man is making progress.
