Tottenham Hotspur have made contact to find out about the feasibility of signing a Serie A wing-back this summer.

Spurs have already significantly reinforced their backline with the additions of Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke.

Some major exits are also expected in the backline, with Tottenham backed to cash in on Cristian Romero, Luka Vuskovic, and Radu Dragusin.

There have been some reports suggesting that Djed Spence’s future at Spurs may also be in doubt, and that may explain the latest news from Italy regarding Tottenham’s interest in an experienced right-back.

TuttoMercatoWeb say that Tottenham have now approached Atalanta to find out the feasibility of signing their right wing-back, Raoul Bellanova. Spurs signed Cristian Romero from Atalanta back in 2022.

Spurs are not the only ones interested in the 26-year-old, with Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Everton also making contact regarding the player’s availability.

Bellanova could also make a big move within Serie A, with last season’s runners-up, Napoli, also showing interest in the player.

Their new boss Massimiliano Allegri is said to be ‘very keen’ on taking the Italy international to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, with a transfer battle potentially on the cards between these five clubs.

Atalanta’s valuation of Raoul Bellanova revealed

TMW claim that Atalanta are open to selling the right-back this summer. In fact, the outlet claims it is ‘certain’ that Bellanova’s time in Bergamo is now ‘over’.

Maurizio Sarri’s side are expected to demand a fee of around €15-€20m (£12.8m-£17m) for the Italian, who has made 80 appearances for the club since joining them in 2024.

The website adds that ‘news is expected soon’ on Bellanova, with the player’s suitors likely to push forward with concrete moves for him.
