Tottenham Hotspur are ready to enter the race for a young winger who has looked extremely threatening at the World Cup so far.

Spurs are now prioritising multiple additions to their forward line after reinforcing their midfield and their backline.

It has been widely reported that signing a top-class winger is a priority for Roberto De Zerbi’s side, with the likes of Eli Junior Kroupi and Savinho mooted as targets.

However, a new update suggests that the Lilywhites are also keeping close tabs on a 21-year-old Bundesliga star, who has showcased his quality on the big stage this summer.

Tottenham eyeing move for RB Leipzig’s Antonio Nusa

According to a report in FussballDaten, Tottenham have turned their attention to Antonio Nusa on the back of his impressive Bundesliga campaign.

The 21-year-old winger has 14 goal contributions in 56 Bundesliga matches, and he has also been one of Norway’s most impressive players at the World Cup, scoring a long-range goal in their 2-1 win over Ivory Coast in the round of 32 stage.

The former Club Brugge man is generating plenty of interest this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur said to be ‘closely monitoring his development’.

However, Leipzig have not received a concrete approach for Nusa so far this summer, with Spurs yet to decide whether they want to substantiate their interest.

Spurs could face plenty of competition for Nusa

CaughtOffside make it clear that Tottenham are not the only ones eyeing the Norway man, with his performances at the World Cup attracting even more admirers.

It is revealed that Juventus, Bayern Munich, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are all keeping an eye on Nusa, with Leipzig waiting to see if any of them make an offer for the player.

It is suggested that a bid of €50m (£43m) is expected to be enough to prise the winger away from the Red Bull Arena this summer.
