Tottenham Hotspur have turned their attention to a prolific Togolese striker, but they face competition from several European clubs.
It has been reported that Spurs are expected to make multiple additions to their forward line this summer, including a centre-forward.
With Richarlison being backed to leave Tottenham, Roberto De Zerbi’s side need another centre-forward to offer competition to Dominic Solanke, who the Spurs boss is a big fan of.
It has now emerged that the Lilywhites have turned their attention to a number nine, who currently plies his trade in Major League Soccer.

Tottenham battling La Liga side for Kevin Denkey
Diario de Sevilla (as relayed by Sport Witness) now claims that Tottenham have turned their attention to FC Cincinnati striker Kevin Denkey as they look to reinforce their options upfront.
Denkey scored 66 goals and registered 20 assists in 152 games for Belgian side Cercle Brugge before making the move to the MLS side in January of last year.
The 25-year-old has continued to be prolific in front of goal in the United States, having scored 31 times in 54 appearances for Cincinnati, including 13 in 17 matches so far this term.
The report says that Tottenham are locked in a battle with Real Betis for the Togo international, with the La Liga side having identified the former Cercle Brugge as someone who can offer competition to Cucho Hernandez.
Three other European clubs want Denkey
The interest in Cincinnati is not restricted to England and Spain, with two French clubs and a German giant also eyeing the player.
The outlet claims that Paris FC, Lille and Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest in taking Denkey back to Europe ahead of next season.
The publication adds that Cincinnati would be willing to cash in on their star striker for around €15m (£13m).
