Tottenham Hotspur may strengthen more than just their forward line in the final weeks of the transfer window.
Roberto De Zerbi has made it clear that Spurs’ priority is to strengthen their attack, which is still the same as it was last season.
However, the Lilywhites may not have more work to do as Djed Spence is closing in on a move to Inter Milan ahead of the new campaign.

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi does not rate Djed Spence highly
Some Spurs fans believe that the club are undervaluing Spence and that they could get a bigger fee for him on the back of his impressive displays for England at the World Cup.
However, Tottenham insider Szyexcl has now claimed that the valuation is down to De Zerbi not rating the 25-year-old very highly from the day he walked through the door.
In two different posts, Szyexcl said on X: “It’s a fee that reflects Roberto De Zerbi’s thoughts on him since the day he became Tottenham manager. The price is very low, similar to De Zerbi’s thoughts on him, I’m told. Ultimately, Djed’s had the last laugh. There were conversations held before the World Cup, and Djed went on to have a brilliant tournament.”
Spurs are in the market for a replacement for Spence
Archie Gray has played a few matches at right-back in pre-season, which has got some supporters to wonder if the 20-year-old could be used as Porro’s backup.
However, Szyexcl, has now confirmed that the Lilywhites are working to add another full-back to their squad before the window slams shut.
When asked if Gray could be used at right-back, he wrote on X: “No. They are looking at fullback options currently.”
