Tottenham eyeing move for Atalanta’s Raoul Bellanova

According to a report in TuttoMercatoWeb, Atalanta’s right wing-back Raoul Bellanova is the subject of interest from Spurs and other Premier League clubs.

The Italy international struggled for consistency last season, making just 15 starts in Serie A, and the report says that his time at Atalanta is ‘nearing its end’.

It is explained that Bellanova’s athleticism makes him an attractive option for English clubs, with Tottenham being joined in the race for the 26-year-old by Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

All three clubs are keeping a close eye on the full-back’s situation as they contemplate a potential move.

Atalanta’s stance on Bellanova revealed

TMW say that Atalanta view the right-back as dispensable and are open to listening to offers for the defender.

It is revealed that the Serie A club are expected to demand a fee of around €15m and €20m (£13m-£17.2m) for Bellanova, who has three years left on his deal at the New Balance Arena.

Finally, the website adds that AC Milan also have a long-standing interest in the Atalanta man, and he is one of the names on the Rossoneri’s wishlist as they scour the markets for ‘reliable options on the right flank’.
