Still, there could well be more departures, and now yet another Spurs youngster has been the subject of a transfer bid from a Premier League club.

Tottenham fans react to Nottingham Forest’s Lucas Bergvall bid
It was only revealed a few hours ago that Nottingham Forest had submitted their first bid for Tottenham youngster Lucas Bergvall.
It was a £38 million offer for the Swede, which was swiftly rejected by Spurs, whose valuation is around £50 million. Forest, however, are not slowing down and are understood to be preparing a second bid in the region of £45 million.
The report has now made its way to Spurs fans, who have not held back in their reactions to Forest’s opening offer.
One fan said on social media: “They just got £125m for anderson 😂😂 stop playing broke gimmick.”
Another added, naming exactly how much they expect Forest to bid: “You received £130M for ur midfielder we want £60M and it all upfront 😊😊😊👍👍👍.”
A third fan commented, calling on Tottenham to sell only if they receive around £50 million: “Sell close to 50 imo. Maybe he turns amazing but is so far away from it at the moment.”
Meanwhile, another supporter added: “38 million is disrespectful dont pick up the phone again.” Another fan stated: “We are going to sell all our future…we will regret it deeply.”
One more fan added: “If Anderson is worth 120 Bergvall it at least 80 – very disrespectful offer.”
A final supporter then stated: “Please don’t sell. We don’t need the money and hes worth more to us than that.”
Spurs face balancing act over Lucas Bergvall
Tottenham are currently at a crossroads and must decide what direction they will take as they aim to get back to competing with some of the best teams in the division.
Spurs showed enormous trust in youth over the last two seasons, but that did not lead to tangible progress in the league, with Tottenham managing two consecutive 17th-place finishes.
It is no surprise to see them change their approach, but with the additions of big-money signings and experienced players, there is a risk of losing youngsters with huge potential, hence the departure of several young players so far.
Tottenham have, however, managed to strike reasonable deals for those players, including sell-on clauses and even a first matching right, as in the case of Luka Vuskovic, to cushion the effect of the sales.
It remains to be seen what they do with Bergvall, whom they are not keen to lose.
