Tottenham Hotspur fans are now all saying the same thing about Mikey Moore after the latest shooting drill footage with Will Lankshear surfaced on social media.

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping that next season is far better than the last campaign, when they finished 17th in the Premier League.

However, based on recent transfer activity in this summer window, supporters have every reason to be optimistic.

Six new signings, with more expected to follow, suggest Tottenham are heading in the right direction as they look to rebuild under Roberto De Zerbi.

Tottenham fans think Mikey Moore has had a growth spurt

Pre-season preparations are next on the agenda for Tottenham, offering many players the chance to stake their claim in front of De Zerbi.

Youngsters Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear have yet to meet the new Spurs boss but have been working hard ahead of pre-season training, which begins on 10 July.

Spurs are still in the market for a striker and winger, but they might not have to look too far if the pair are up to the task.

Moore and Lankshear were spotted training with former Spurs coach Scott Chickelday, focusing on their shooting. This has excited Tottenham fans, but many also noticed a striking change in the left winger.

On social media, several supporters pointed out that Moore looks noticeably taller, with many believing he has added a few inches.

One Tottenham supporter said: “Mikey looks like he has got taller.” Another added: “Wtf, Mikey almost as tall as Lankshear now.”

A third commented: “Mikey Moore has shot up 🫨.” Another remarked: “I thought Lankshear was a lot taller, unless Mikey has shot up a fair bit.”

One fan kept the focus on football, saying: “Really hope both get a fair chance in pre-season.” Another added: “Mikey’s body suggests he is not an early developer – really excited to see what he becomes, 18 and still growing taller.”

A final Tottenham supporter commented: “Hope to see them have minutes in pre-season before sending them out on loan.”

Lankshear, who stands at 6 ft 2 in, no longer appears significantly taller than Moore.

Spurs prospects Moore and Lankshear aiming to impress in pre-season

A quick Google search lists Moore at 5 ft 11 in, but that may need updating if the images and speculation are anything to go by.

Both looked sharp in their shooting drills, which is always a positive sign with pre-season around the corner.

They will surely be eager to impress after standout loan spells last season – Moore winning Young Player of the Season in Scotland, while Lankshear recorded his best senior goalscoring return with 11 goals.

Moore is now attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund, while Lankshear is on the radar of Sporting CP.
