A journalist reveals what Tottenham Hotspur are now planning to do after a quick start to the summer transfer window.
As expected, Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi have become Spurs’ first two signings of the summer, with the Lilywhites wasting no time in starting their summer rebuild.
According to various reports, Tottenham are optimistic of finalising a deal with Man City for Savinho, who is expected to bolster Roberto De Zerbi’s attack ahead of his first full season in charge at N17.
Additionally, Spurs are also attempting to secure Jan Paul Van Hecke, who has worked with Roberto De Zerbi at Brighton in the past.

Tottenham expected to continue their spending spree this summer
After seeing the club come out of the traps quickly, Spurs fans will be hoping that the Lilywhites continue with the same urgency across the transfer window.
The Mirror’s John Cross has now handed the North Londoners some good news by stating that the club’s spending spree is expected to continue.
He adds that Savinho is ‘ready’ to complete a switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and confirms that the North Londoners are continuing talks with the Seagulls regarding Van Hecke.
It is said that ‘Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi is overseeing a huge transfer splurge to bolster the squad’ which shows that Tottenham ‘mean business this summer’.
There will also be extra funds coming in from a ‘likely’ Cristian Romero departure, while Mathys Tel is attracting ‘strong interest’.
Spurs hierarchy realise they are under pressure
Tottenham fans have raised their voice against the ownership and have been critical of the poor decisions made by the club over the last 12 months.
That is perhaps why several Spurs officials have assured fans that the club will change how they operate in the transfer window.
The early evidence suggests that nearly being relegated has served as a major warning to the Lewis family and the Tottenham hierarchy.
While the signs are positive at the moment, the club still have a lot of work to do this summer to build a squad capable of competing at the top end of the Premier League table next season.
