The latest developments regarding Omar Marmoush have garnered a lot of reaction from Tottenham fans, who are nervously waiting for the club to confirm the signing of the Man City forward.
Tottenham finally announced the signing of Savinho on Tuesday morning, with various reports suggesting that Spurs have agreed to pay £85m for the Brazilian.
However, despite reports that Marmoush is also set to follow Savinho to Tottenham, there have been some concerning developments that suggest that the 26-year-old may not be as close to a move to N17 as some sources suggest.
Firstly, he was part of Man City’s matchday squad against Bournemouth on Sunday, and that was followed by an even more worrying development yesterday.

Man City share pictures of Tottenham target Omar Marmoush training on Monday
Seemingly in a bid to prove that the Egypt international is not as close to a move to Tottenham as reports suggest, City shared images of the forward training on Monday.
The Manchester club even shared a video of some finishing drills in their training ground, which Marmoush was a part of, along with the caption: ‘Starting the week strong’.
Needlessly to say, this has caused major worry among some supporters on social media, coming as it did nearly 24 hours after Fabrizio Romano gave his ‘here we go’ for the 27-year-old’s move to Tottenham.
Spurs insider accuses Man City of playing games regarding Marmoush
However, Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe is adamant that the Tottenham target is not in Manchester, but in London, in anticipation of the transfer being completed.
He brushed aside the training ground images and videos posted by Man City, suggesting that the forward could have either come down to London yesterday after training, or that City could simply be playing games.
In multiple posts on X, O’Keefe said about Marmoush: “He’s in London. No City training tomorrow, so hopefully news. Games? I don’t know. I’m not losing sleep over it. Could’ve been 9 am for all I know. I do, however, know he’s in London.”
