Tottenham Hotspur have now finalised their top winger target after scouring Europe for several options over the past few weeks.
Tottenham are now focused on adding to their forward line over the coming weeks after strengthening their midfield and defence earlier in the window.
The likes of Rafael Leao and Antonio Nusa have been mooted as targets for Spurs over the last few weeks.
However, it has now emerged that Roberto De Zerbi’s men have turned their attention back to a winger who has been heavily linked with a move to N17 at the start of the summer.
Tottenham accelerating move to sign Man City star Savinho
It was reported by some reliable sources last month that Spurs are confident of striking a £60m deal with Man City for Savinho.
Over the last few weeks, Fabrizio Romano has maintained that the deal to bring the Brazilian winger to Tottenham remains on.
Now, Spurs insider Szyexel, who has been very reliable in breaking transfer stories all summer, has claimed that the Lilywhites are accelerating a move to sign the 22-year-old, who is their ‘chosen target’.
He said on X: “THFC to now accelerate a move to sign Savinho. He is the chosen target.”
Xavi Simons and Fabrizio Romano send major Savinho to Spurs hints
Just a couple of days ago, Xavi Simons also sent another big hint on social media that Savinho is on his way to Tottenham.
Additionally, around the same time, Fabrizio Romano also retweeted the following post on X regarding Spurs’ interest in Savinho, which the journalist originally posted last month.
It certainly does not appear to be a coincidence that these have occurred over the last 48 hours, and it clearly suggests that Tottenham may have stepped up their interest in the former Girona man.
