Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to assess various right-backs around the Premier League and Europe as Djed Spence completes his move to Inter Milan.
Spence is on the verge of completing a £26m move to Inter Milan, thus bringing to an end his four-year stay at Tottenham.
Spurs are expected to sign a right-back to replace the England international, with Roberto De Zerbi not intending to use Archie Gray as Pedro Porro’s main backup.
It has been reported that Daniel Munoz and Neco Williams are both targets for the Lilywhites, as we enter the final two weeks of the transfer window.
Amar Dedic and Daniel Munoz are on Tottenham’s radar
Journalist Ben Jacobs has confirmed that Munoz is a player that Tottenham like, with the Lilywhites discussing a move for the Crystal Palace man at the start of the window.
However, he asserted that Spurs would have to act quickly to land the Colombian, with Everton also interested. Additionally, he added that Benfica’s Amar Dedic is also on De Zerbi’s wishlist.
Jacobs said on The Last Word on Spurs: “Daniel Munoz is a player that Tottenham have talked about at the start of the window, but will need to act quickly, with Everton interested. Amar Dedić has made the Tottenham shortlist as well.”
Dedic is on the verge of joining Newcastle
Since Jacobs made this revelation on Thursday morning, there have already been significant developments over the future of Dedic.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Newcastle have already agreed personal terms with the Benfica man and are now in the ‘final stages’ of completing a transfer worth over €30m (£26m).
Romano wrote on X: “Newcastle are closing in on Amar Dedic deal! Personal terms agreed with 23-year-old fullback. Dedić wants NUFC move and agreement at final stages with Benfica for final fee over €30m package.”
