As Djed Spence closes in on a move to Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur have identified two replacements, with an experienced Premier League star at the top of their wishlist.
Fabrizio Romano has already given his ‘here we go’ for Spence’s move to Inter Milan, with the Nerazzurri agreeing a £27m deal for the England international.
According to various sources, Spurs are scouring the market for a new right-back, with Archie Gray unlikely to be used as Pedro Porro’s primary backup.
It has now emerged that Lilywhites have set their sights on raiding a London rival for an experienced South American

Tottenham are fans of Crystal Palace’s Daniel Muñoz
Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe has now claimed that the North Londoners are big fans of Crystal Palace right-back Daniel Muñoz.
Muñoz, who has been capped 51 times for Colombia, is liked by Spurs due to his engine and his ability in the final third. The Palace right-back scored six and assisted eight in 2024/25, then followed up with another five goals and four assists last season.
O’Keefe wrote on X: “They like Daniel Muñoz, who is a proper runner and threat on goal.”
It emerged last month that Spurs are considering replacing Spence with Nottingham Forest star Neco Williams, and O’Keefe has now confirmed that the Wales international also ticks the boxes the Lilywhites want.
He added in a different post on X: “Munoz, but he and Williams tick their boxes.”
Spurs have held talks with Nottingham Forest over Neco Williams
O’Keefe also confirmed that Roberto De Zerbi’s men have already explored a move for Williams this summer, but he admitted that he is unsure if they will go back in for him.
He wrote: “They looked at him already. Don’t know if going back to try”, and when asked specifically if they have launched an enquiry for the Forest star, he responded: “They did.”
However, according to reports, Williams is also a leading target for Man United, with Michael Carrick a fan of the 25-year-old.
