Tottenham Hotspur fans will be hoping the misery of the 2025-26 season, which saw the club finish 17th and become embroiled in a full-on relegation battle, proves to be the catalyst for better things to come as they look to rebuild.
We have already seen those rebuilding efforts begin this summer, with Tottenham completing the signings of Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson on free transfers, while a transfer has finally been reached with Brighton to sign Jan Paul van Hecke permanently.

The Premier League has now confirmed the fixture list for the 2026-27 campaign, outlining when the season will begin and when Tottenham are scheduled to face each of their opponents.
The new season is set to get underway on Saturday, 22 August 2026, with the final round of fixtures taking place on Sunday, 30 May 2027.
As is customary, all matches on the final day will kick off at the same time. The new campaign will also start a week later than last season, a move designed to help ease the demands of an increasingly congested football calendar and provide players with additional recovery time following the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 2026-27 season will also consist of 33 weekend rounds and five midweek rounds, while no two match rounds over the Christmas and New Year period will be scheduled within 60 hours of each other.
