Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that another experienced Premier League defender has now followed Andy Robertson through the door at Hotspur Way.

Robertson became the first player to join Spurs this window, completing a free transfer to N17 last week after his deal at Liverpool ran out.

The Scott brings plenty of Premier League experience and a winning mentality to Roberto De Zerbi’s side as they look to battle for bigger honours next season after two successive 17th-placed finishes.

Another defender, with plenty of experience in the English top-flight, has now also joined De Zerbi’s project in North London ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Marcos Senesi to Tottenham

Tottenham confirm signing of Marcos Senesi

It was widely reported over the last few days that it was only a matter of time before Spurs announced the arrival of Marcos Senesi after the centre-back had completed his medical at Hotspur Way.

Tottenham have now officially confirmed the arrival of the Argentina international on a free transfer following four seasons at Bournemouth.

Senesi adds to Spurs’ rich legacy of Argentine players and managers, and club legend Ossie Ardiles welcomed the 29-year-old to the Lilywhites with some inspiring words.

Spurs are nearing two more signings

The arrivals of Robertson and Senesi certainly boost the Lilywhites backline, and far from resting on their laurels, the club are also working to push through two more deals.

Tottenham expect Brighton to accept their third offer for Jan Paul Van Hecke after the Seagulls sent back their opening two bids for the Dutchman.

Spurs are also advancing on a £60m deal to sign Savinho from Manchester City after the winger agreed personal terms with De Zerbi’s side.
