Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Eli Junior Kroupi has just got even harder than it already was after the latest developments regarding the Bournemouth star’s future.
The name of the Cherries star has been on the lips of most Spurs fans over the last few weeks, as the Lilywhites look to make a statement addition to their attack.
Several outlets have reported over recent days that Tottenham are ready to make a mammoth offer for Kroupi to test Bournemouth’s resolve to hold onto the striker.
The Cherries have maintained that the 20-year-old forward is not for sale, thus complicating matters for the Lilywhites, and they have now received another major blow in the pursuit of the Frenchman.

PSG ready to turn attention to Tottenham target Eli Junior Kroupi
Spurs are expected to face plenty of competition for the French starlet, with PSG, Arsenal and Barcelona all named as fans of the youngster.
It has now been revealed by journalist Malick Traore that the reigning Ligue 1 and European champions are set to turn their attention to Kroupi after deciding to end their pursuit of Yan Diomande.
Traore wrote on X: “Due to the complexity of the file (image rights…), PSG will pass on the Yan Diomandé file… New target of the European champion: Eli Kroupi Jr.”
Spurs may have one advantage over PSG in the Kroupi race
The good news for Tottenham is that several sources have claimed that the 20-year-old has signalled a willingness to join Roberto De Zerbi’s side this summer.
Additionally, TEAMtalk reported earlier this month that Spurs have one major advantage over PSG in the race for Kroupi.
The outlet explained that while Tottenham can offer the France U21 international a leading role in their setup next season, the player may have to play second fiddle to the likes of Ousmane Dembele in Paris.
