Tottenham Hotspur are ready to substantiate their interest in Eli Junior Kroupi, and they believe they have one advantage in the race for the Bournemouth star’s signature.

We know that Tottenham are now looking for multiple top-class additions to their forward line, and it appears a 20-year-old has now emerged as their top target.

Kroupi is being heavily linked with a move to Roberto De Zerbi’s side, and the Cherries forward would certainly be a continuation of Tottenham’s transfer strategy this summer of buying the best in class, Premier League-proven players on the market.

Spurs are expected to face competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the French forward, but the Lilywhites are seemingly not afraid of the prospect of going up against the Parisians.

Tottenham believe they have a huge advantage over PSG in Eli Junior Kroupi race

TEAMtalk have now claimed that Spurs are stepping up their search for a new striker and the 20-year-old has emerged as ‘one of the leading names under discussion’.

Kroupi’s versatility is said to be highly valued by De Zerbi, who is keen on building a fluid, interchangeable attack at Tottenham.

It is revealed that PSG view the Bournemouth man as their ‘dream replacement’ for Goncalo Ramos following the Portuguese striker’s move to AC Milan.

However, sources told the website that Tottenham can offer Kroupi something that the European champions cannot.

While the forward would have to serve as Ousmane Dembele’s cover initially at the French capital, the Lilywhites believe they can tempt the youngster with the offer of being their guaranteed first-choice striker.

Spurs readying Kroupi offer as London rivals circle

TEAMtalk say that Tottenham are not the only English club interested in Kroupi, with Arsenal and Chelsea also keeping close tabs on the forward, and receiving regular updates about his situation.

However, as things stand, Spurs are the only ones ready to make a ‘significant move’ for the Bournemouth man, with the Lilywhites forcing themselves into the front of the queue for the teenager.

The publication claims the North Londoners are preparing an opening offer to test the Cherries’ resolve, with the belief that negotiations could become realistic if the overall package exceeds £75m.
