Lincoln City have agreed a deal to sign one of Tottenham Hotspur’s most highly-rated talents on a season-long loan.
Mikey Moore is edging closer to a loan move to Koln, with the youngster all set to test himself in the Bundesliga following his impressive loan spell at Rangers last season.
He could soon be followed out of the door by another 18-year-old attacker, who only arrived at Hotspur Way at the start of this year, but has already impressed many at the club.
We are talking about Mason Melia, who arrived from St Patrick’s Athletic for £1.6m plus add-ons, and the Irishman may be about to get his first taste of senior English football.

Lincoln City agree deal to sign Tottenham starlet Mason Melia on loan
Football Insider have now revealed that Championship side Lincoln City have struck a deal with Spurs to sign the young striker on a season-long loan.
The club, who were promoted from League One last season, are expected to have a deal for Melia wrapped up in the next 48 hours.
The report reveals that Tottenham fielded as many as 30 enquiries for Melia this summer, with many Championship and European clubs expressing interest.
However, Lincoln have now emerged as the clear front-runners, with a full agreement now reached and the player expected to have his medical over the coming days.
Spurs have high hopes for Melia
Football Insider says that Melia, who has trained with the Tottenham first-team under De Zerbi, is ‘extremely highly regarded’ in the North London club, who are hopeful he can continue his development in the Championship.
The club are optimistic that the Republic of Ireland international, who scored three times in six matches in Premier League 2 for Spurs last term, will impress in the second tier.
The Lilywhites weighed up a number of potential destinations for the 18-year-old before finally striking a deal with Lincoln City.
