Tottenham star Xavi Simons has just shown that he is not just an extremely gifted footballer but also a great human being by making an offer to a family who are dealing with a huge personal tragedy.
The attacking midfielder’s season was cut short by an ACL injury last season, just when he was coming into his own under Roberto De Zerbi.
However, the 22-year-old is in high spirits ahead of the new season, promising Spurs fans that they are going to see a ‘new Xavi’ next season
The Dutchman is also excited by the business Tottenham have done this summer, having set his sights on winning major silverware at the club.

Tottenham star Xavi Simons makes kind offer to family going through personal tragedy
The social media platform, Grassroots, announced the tragic passing of 11-year-old George Dennis, who played for Ongar Juniors U12s.
George was in a crash on Epping Road on the afternoon of July 10 and was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, which he later succumbed to.
The Tottenham man has now reacted by offering George’s family the opportunity to join him and his family at any upcoming Spurs game if they wish to do so.
Xavi responded on X: “George’s family is welcome to join my family and me at any upcoming Spurs game. Sending all of my love.”
Tottenham fans who wish to donate to George’s family can do so by visiting this Just Giving page.
Xavi continues to hint at impending Spurs transfer
Many Tottenham supporters will remember that last month, Xavi posted an image of himself and Savinho together during their PSV Eindhoven days, just as rumours linking the Man City man with N17 were intensifying.
A couple of days ago, the Spurs midfielder once again threw a big hint about reuniting with the Brazilian at N17.
Meanwhile, Savinho has been throwing hints of his own on social media, regarding the possibility of swapping City for Tottenham.
