Tottenham’s Luka Vuskovic marked his return to Hamburg’s starting eleven with an outstanding strike as his side picked up an important win.
Hamburg lost all three matches that Vuskovic missed due to injury, and they returned to winning ways last week against Eintracht Frankfurt as the Tottenham loanee returned to the pitch as a second-half substitute.
The Spurs youngster’s numbers this season have been up there with the best, with the 19-year-old becoming the most important component of HSV’s backline.
The Croat marked his return to the starting line-up with a fine performance on Sunday, making a decisive impact in the attacking third.

The Spurs centre-back has also chipped in with several crucial goals for Hamburg this season, proving a real threat during corner kicks.
Vuskovic scored his sixth goal of the season for the Bundesliga side on Sunday in their final home game of the season as Merlin Polzin’s men emerged 3-2 winners.
The 19-year-old stepped up to take a free kick from around 30 yards out on 64 minutes, and he stuck a ball along the floor, which went under the wall and beat Noah Atubolu in the Freiburg goal.

Spurs have a fight on their hands to keep Vuskovic
It has emerged over recent days that Barcelona are actively exploring a deal to sign Vuskovic, having been impressed by his performances this season.
In fact, various sources have said that Vuskovic’s agent is attempting to persuade the Catalan club to make an offer for the centre-back, and the defender’s latest goal may make his job easier.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are desperately trying to tie the teenager down to a new contract in an effort to fend off the interest from Barcelona and other elite clubs around Europe.
