Mikey Moore has sent a clear message to Tottenham after featuring in Roberto De Zerbi’s side during their 1–0 win over MK Dons.
Mikey Moore was one of six Tottenham youngsters to have featured against MK Dons in Spurs’ first pre-season game of the summer.
That marked the teenager’s first appearance for Tottenham since he featured in pre-season last summer under Thomas Frank.
Moore had a stellar loan spell at Rangers last season, where he managed seven goals and four assists in all competitions and was even named Young Player of the Scottish division.
The teenager produced an impressive display against MK Dons after coming on in the second half and was rated 6.7, one of the highest in the game.

There is a clear determination to impress in pre-season, with Moore making it clear he wants to play in the Premier League.
Following the match against MK Dons, the teenager spoke with the official Tottenham media team to discuss his previous loan spell and his focus in pre-season.
When asked how it feels to be back in a Spurs shirt, he said: “Buzzing to be back. It was good to get a run out today. And yeah, I think it put the boys did alright. It was good to get going again and be back in the Tottenham shirt.”
He also opened up on how everyone performed against the League One side in what was Tottenham’s first pre-season outing: “Think, all the boys were good. I think they dealt with it well.
“There is a lot of, I think there is a lot of attackers on the pitch. I think we had one natural defender on the pitch.
“So um, yeah, we did well, there was stuff we need to clean up on and the manager has been been top and made it clear in what he wants. So yeah, it was a good first game.”
Moore outlines summer work and physical development
Moore has been putting the work in this summer, doing individual training sessions before eventually meeting up with Tottenham for pre-season preparation.
The teenager looks a lot taller and has certainly bulked up, with many Spurs fans spotting his growth ahead of pre-season camp.
Speaking to the Spurs media team, the 18-year-old confirmed that his physicality is something he has been working on.
He said: “Yeah, I think I have tried my best to come back in the best possible way I can to make a good account of myself. And um, yes, I know it is just about trying to show up a good first forty five minutes. It is just obviously try and try and get some minutes again. But no I need to show what I can do.”
On whether he has specifically focused on his physicality, he added: “One hundred percent. Yeah, I think to compete in the Premier League where I want to play football, you need to be physically at the right…
“You know, you need to be as good as all the other boys in the league. It is such a physically demanding league, so I had to work hard over the summer. And yeah, I am feeling good in myself and need show technically as well I am at a good level.”
He finally spoke about his loan spell at Rangers and how it has shaped him, adding: “Yes, Rangers is a huge club, I absolutely loved every second of my time there and I think I have come back a better player and a better person with the experiences I had.
“So yeah, now I need to try and bring that here, because it is another massive club, so yeah, throughout the pre-season, whatever chance I get I just want to show I have come back a better player and I am physically and a better person.”
