Tottenham Hotspur have relaxed their demands for Cristian Romero as they continue talks with Inter Milan regarding the captain.
It is no longer a secret that Inter are trying to complete a deal for Romero, with the Nerazzurri confirming publicly that they are in dialogue with Tottenham over the centre-back.
Additionally, over recent days, the Spurs defender’s agent has been spotted in Italy, presumably to have talks over his client’s move to the San Siro.
Some Italian outlets have suggested over recent days that Inter could propose a loan-to-buy formula for Romero, but that may no longer be on the cards.

FcInterNews have now provided a fresh update on the Serie A giants’ pursuit of the Argentine defender.
The outlet claims that Inter are now working on signing Romero permanently, ruling out a loan with a purchase option, stating that ‘creative solutions’ are no longer possible.
Interestingly, it is revealed that while the North London club were initially demanding €50m (£42.7m) for their captain, they may now be open to accepting just €40m (£34m).
The reigning Serie A champions are hoping to agree a deal with the Lilywhites that would allow them to make deferred payments.

FcInterNews say that Christian Chivu’s side are now confident of a positive outcome in their negotiations with the Premier League side for the centre-back.
Inter want to finalise an outcome to the negotiation ‘within 10 days’, which means that they want a deal to be agreed before the Tottenham star joins Roberto De Zerbi’s squad for pre-season.
However, if the Nerazzurri are not able to agree a deal based on deferred payments within that stipulated time, they could move on to other alternatives.
