10 Tottenham Hotspur first-team players were spotted arriving at Hotspur Way for the first day of pre-season.
It was previously reported that around 15 Spurs players are expected to be part of the first group to return to training, including the club’s two big summer signings, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.
That excludes the 12 Tottenham first-team players involved at this summer’s World Cup, who will miss the first few weeks of training, with FIFA mandating a three-week break for players after a major tournament.
Spurs also have four players who are out with injuries at the moment: Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, Xavi Simons and Wilson Odobert.

10 Tottenham players spotted arriving at Hotspur Way
Tottenham have released a gallery of the first set of players who came into the training ground this morning, and interestingly, it included just one of the club’s six summer signings.
Mateus Fernandes was the only one among the new arrivals who was spotted arriving, and the former West Ham man was all smiles as he reported for his first day at his new club.
The images also showed Archie Gray, Ben Davies, Dominic Solanke, Conor Gallagher, Kota Takai, Brandon Austin, Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, and Manor Solomon entering the training complex.
Spurs’ first pre-season game is less than two weeks away
While these 10 players were the only ones whose pictures were shared by the club, that does not mean that there weren’t others who also reported for training today.
We could see more updates from the club on the first day of training, while a few more players could also trickle in over the next few days.
Tottenham have just 12 days before their first pre-season friendly of the summer, as they host MK Dons at Hotspur Way on July 22.
The 12 Spurs players involved at the World Cup are all expected to miss that fixture, and the likes of Djed Spence, Cristian Romero, Marcos Senesi, and Pedro Porro, who are still at the tournament, may not return until a much later stage.
