Tottenham supporters have shared their thoughts after fresh developments emerged regarding the future of Luka Vuskovic, with Brighton and Hove Albion refusing to back away from their pursuit.
Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur have already done business together during this summer transfer window, with Spurs signing centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke from the Seagulls.
The Lilywhites saw several bids rejected before agreeing a £52 million deal for Van Hecke, who is expected to link up with the Tottenham squad after the World Cup.
Brighton are now searching for a replacement for the Dutchman and have turned their attention to Spurs youngster Luka Vuskovic.
The Seagulls previously submitted a £30 million bid for the 19-year-old, which Tottenham quickly rejected.

Tottenham fans react as Spurs receive improved Luka Vuskovic transfer offer from Brighton
Brighton have not given up in their pursuit and have now returned with a significantly improved offer for Vuskovic.
It is understood that the Seagulls’ latest proposal is a £45 million package including add-ons, leaving Tottenham with a decision to make regarding the future of one of football’s most highly rated young talents.
Tottenham supporters have been keeping tabs on the latest reports and have now shared their reaction to Brighton’s latest Vuskovic offer.
Many fans believe that the Seagulls’ latest offer still falls well short of the teenager’s valuation. Spurs Web has reported in the past that Vuskovic is valued at £60m.
Reacting to the report, one fan said: “We gave them £52m, and they bidding £45m for future generational talent, these guys man aren’t serious.”
Another added: “Ayari plus 40 mil and 35% sell on clause. Or Baleba plus 15 Mill and 35 % sell on clause take your pic.”
A third commented: “Lol Brighton just don’t get it. We want our money back, so their bid is still below standard.”
One other supporter simply stated: “Another £10m and we’re almost there,” while others were keen on getting extra money. One fan believed it is better for Tottenham to sell, commenting: “Honestly take it at this point that’s good money for a bloke who hasn’t played a minute of Premier League football.”
Spurs could still benefit from Luka Vuskovic sale
Spurs are surely in no rush to sell, but their hand may be forced, with Vuskovic understood to be pushing for a move.
Spurs Web previously reported that the Croat has already agreed personal terms with the Seagulls despite the two clubs still negotiating a fee.
The focus for Tottenham now will be securing the best possible deal while also creating a route to benefit from the defender’s future development.
Including a sell-on clause could be worth considering, while a buy-back clause may also allow Spurs to bring the centre-back back to the club further down the line.
