After securing Eberechi Eze right under Tottenham’s noses last summer, Arsenal are prepared to repeat the trick with another England international wanted by Spurs this summer.
Arsenal hijacked Tottenham’s move for Eze a year ago after it initially seemed like the attacking midfielder’s move to N17 was agreed.
The Arsenal man even admitted that he was ready to join Spurs from Crystal Palace before Mikel Arteta’s men came calling for him last year.
It has now emerged that the Gunners have entered the race for another attacking midfielder wanted by Roberto De Zerbi ahead of his first full season in charge at N17.

Arsenal enter race for Tottenham target Morgan Gibbs-White
It first emerged last month that Spurs were ready to reignite their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White after coming close to landing the midfielder last summer.
This was subsequently confirmed by The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, who claimed last week that Tottenham had revived their pursuit of the Nottingham Forest man.
However, The Sun have now provided some bad news to the Lilywhites by revealing that Gibbs-White has been added to Arsenal’s summer wishlist.
Arteta’s men had been pursuing Morgan Rogers, but Aston Villa are determined to keep the England international at Villa Park after qualifying for the Champions League.
As a result, the Premier League champions have identified the former Wolves man as a possible alternative as they look to reinforce their options in the number 10 role.
European giants also eyeing Gibbs-White
This latest report from The Sun makes no mention of Spurs possibly making another approach for Gibbs-White.
However, the outlet does reveal that the 26-year-old is on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain, who are looking to beat Arsenal to the player after overcoming the Gunners on penalties in the Champions League final.
Given the calibre of clubs after Gibbs-White, the Lilywhites may struggle to convince him to come to N17, especially given that they have no European football to offer next season.
