Tottenham and Man United have been joined in the race for a Crysencio Summerville by three other big-name clubs this summer.

The summer window could have looked very different for Tottenham Hotspur had they slipped into the Championship last season, as a mass exodus could very well have been on the cards.

Instead, the Lilywhites are now working hard to strengthen their squad and ensure they avoid another relegation battle.

There is a clear intent to spend, with Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke already signed as part of their rebuild.

Tottenham face Arsenal and Aston Villa in Crysencio Summerville battle

Tottenham are targeting further reinforcements in midfield and attack, with Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes linked, while Crysencio Summerville, Cody Gakpo and Savinho have emerged as wide forward options.

According to Foot Mercato, Spurs are expected to face stiff competition for Summerville, with Paris Saint-Germain now entering the race for the 24-year-old.

It is understood that PSG advisor Luis Campos has held talks with West Ham United for Crysencio Summerville. The winger has impressed at the World Cup, scoring twice and providing an assist for the Netherlands in his two appearances so far.

Interest is now growing across Europe, with Arsenal and Aston Villa also keen, while AC Milan and AS Roma are monitoring the situation.

West Ham, meanwhile, are reported to have set a €50 million (£42.3 million) asking price.

Man United are also firmly in the race to sign Summerville, who netted in his opening game of the 2026 World Cup for the Netherlands.

PSG also rival Spurs and Man United for Mateus Fernandes

Not only are PSG expected to rival Tottenham for Summerville, but they are also in the race for Mateus Fernandes, with the midfielder reportedly discussed during talks with West Ham.

Spurs have identified the 21-year-old midfielder as a key target, and Tottenham have already made contact with Fernandes’ agent, hoping to beat Manchester United to his signature.

Reports suggest Tottenham are preparing a €70 million (£60.4 million) bid for the West Ham man as they continue their push to strengthen the midfield.
