It was confirmed this morning that Takai has sealed a season-long loan move to Belgian side Sint-Truidense V.V.
Football.London have now revealed on their live blog that the 21-year-old centre-back has made a straight loan move, with the Belgian side having no option to make the deal permanent.
The young defender is still waiting for his senior Tottenham debut since joining from Kawasaki Frontale last summer, having spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
STVV finished in third place in the Belgian Pro League last term, and Spurs will be hoping that Takai gets regular football at the club this season.
