While Victor Osimhen continues to be heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, the Lilywhites will have to break the bank to land the striker.
Spurs are continuing to track various strikers around Europe, but the Lilywhites are quickly running out of time, with just two weeks left until the transfer window slams shut.
Over the last week, several outlets have suggested that a sensational late move for Osimhen could be on the cards for Tottenham.
Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur has suggested that Spurs can land Osimhen for £65m, but a new update has claimed that the Lilywhites would have to pay a much higher fee to land the 27-year-old.
One source out of Nigeria even said that Tottenham were close to agreeing a blockbuster deal for Osimhen.

Spurs have already shattered their transfer record twice this summer, first paying £85m for Mateus Fernandes, before spending £100m on Sandro Tonali.
They may have to do so again to land Osimhen, as Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Al Hilal have verbally offered €130m (£111m) for the Nigerian, and even that is not enough to clinch the deal.
The journalist claims that despite the huge offer, Galatasaray are not entertaining any talks about selling the former Napoli man.
Osimhen’s wages may also present a major stumbling block for Spurs
It was previously reported by TEAMtalk that Osimhen’s bumper salary at Galatasaray may be a huge issue for Spurs and other Premier League clubs.
According to Capology, the centre-forward is currently on a whopping €384k (£328k) per week at the Istanbul club.
That is comfortably higher than any player in Tottenham’s squad, with the Lilywhites’ highest earner thought to be Sandro Tonali, who is reportedly on £250k per week.
