Marcus Rashford’s stance on a potential switch to Tottenham has come to light as the Lilywhites explore a surprise deal for the Man United man.
Spurs Web has relayed a number of reports over recent weeks stating that Tottenham are eyeing a move for Rashford as Barcelona hesitate to activate their £26m purchase option.
Spurs have already held discussions over a deal for the 28-year-old, who is currently training with the England squad in Miami ahead of the World Cup.
A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Tottenham and other English clubs could be handed a big opportunity to land Rashford after Barca indicated they would only be paying £13m for the forward, which is not an acceptable figure for Man United.

Blow for Tottenham as Marcus Rashford not interested in a move to N17
The Mirror have now confirmed that Man United and Barca have a huge disagreement regarding the 28-year-old’s valuation, with the Old Trafford hierarchy becoming exasperated with Barca’s attitude towards the negotiations.
As a result, Michael Carrick’s side are considering turning their back on the Catalan side and selling their academy graduate to someone else instead.
The outlet claims that not only Spurs, but also Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United have all expressed an interest in acquiring Rashford’s services, but United are reluctant to sell the player to one of their Premier League rivals.
Disappointingly for the Lilywhites, it is also revealed that the England international is not interested in a move to St James’ Park or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Spurs making progress in efforts to sign another Premier League winger
While the Rashford deal appears to be slipping away from the Lilywhites, De Zerbi’s men are making major progress in a deal for another pacy winger with plenty of Premier League experience.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that negotiations between Tottenham and Man City for Savinho are progressing well, with the Manchester club ready to sanction the Brazilian’s sale.
Interestingly, Xavi Simons has already hinted at Savinho’s impending arrival at Spurs, with the pair having played together at PSV Eindhoven previously.
