Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has now revealed why Inter Milan have turned their attention to Tottenham’s Djed Spence this summer.
Djed Spence is one Tottenham Hotspur player who has been attracting significant interest in recent weeks following his outstanding World Cup displays for England.
Interest has come from both the Premier League and Serie A, with Everton and Inter Milan both reported to be keen on signing the Spurs full-back.
Everton are understood to value Spence at £25 million, while the Serie A champions have also identified him as one of the options they are considering.

Tottenham’s Djed Spence emerges as Inter Milan target
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has now revealed exactly why Inter Milan have turned their attention to Spence this summer.
According to Di Marzio, the Italian club’s interest has intensified after Royale Union Saint-Gilloise’s Anan Khalaili failed his medical, despite coming close to completing a move to the Serie A champions.
Inter have only recently lost Denzel Dumfries to Real Madrid and are now in the market for a new right-back. Following the collapse of the Khalaili deal, they have identified several alternative targets.
It is further explained that, alongside Spence, Inter are also considering Feyenoord’s Givairo Read, AS Monaco’s Vanderson, Atlético Madrid’s Nahuel Molina, RC Strasbourg’s Guéla Doué and Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson.
Everton and Juventus could complicate Inter Milan’s pursuit of Djed Spence
While Inter face competition from Everton for Spence’s signature, Juventus could also yet enter the race after previously showing interest in the Tottenham full-back.
However, there is currently nothing concrete from the Turin club, who have not made any advances at this stage.
Inter are also believed to be after cheaper right-back alternatives and, with Spence’s valuation potentially rising following his impressive World Cup performances, Di Marzio claims there remains a possibility that the Italian side will ultimately decide against pursuing a deal.
