Two Tottenham Hotspur defenders are on Juventus’ wishlist, who now face a big decision ahead of the summer transfer window.

Spurs have strengthened at left-back by signing Andy Robertson, who arrived on a free transfer after his contract at Liverpool ran out, while Ben Davies has signed a one-year contract extension.

These moves from Tottenham have intensified speculation regarding the future of another Spurs defender over the last few days.

Destiny Udogie has emerged as a target for Juventus, who are looking to rebuild their squad this summer, but he is not the only Spurs player on the Italian club’s wishlist.

Juventus set to choose between Tottenham duo Destiny Udogie and Djed Spence

A couple of days ago, another Italian publication suggested that Djed Spence is also rated very highly by the Bianconeri.

Now, a new report in Corriere dello Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness) has confirmed that both Spence and Udogie are admired by the Italian club’s recruitment department.

It is explained that Andrea Cambiaso’s exit from Turin is a real possibility this summer, with the interest in the Italy international now growing.

Selling him would allow Juve to operate with more freedom in the current transfer window, and the Serie A club have identified the Spurs duo as possible replacements.

The outlet adds that ‘work is underway’ in England regarding the deals, as Luciano Spalletti’s men are set to decide which of Tottenham’s two full-backs to pursue.

TransferMarkt have both Spence and Destiny Udogie listed at €30m (£26m).

Former Spurs director has done groundwork on signing Udogie

The report claims that Juve CEO Damien Comoli, who previously worked as Tottenham’s director of football, has ‘gathered information’ on Udogie’s availability.

However, that is an acknowledgement from the Allianz Stadium hierarchy that a deal for the 23-year-old will not be easy to pull off, as Roberto De Zerbi is a fan of the former Udinese man.

The report adds that Spence’s previous experience in Serie A when he was on loan at Genoa during the second half of the 2023/24 season makes him an attractive target for Spalletti’s side.

Marco Ottolini was Genoa’s sporting director when the full-back was with the Italian club, and Ottolini now holds the same role at Juve.
