Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist think one senior Tottenham Hotspur man will leave the club in the final few days of the transfer window as the Lilywhites continue strengthening their forward line.
Savio announced himself with an outstanding debut performance for Spurs against Charlton on Tuesday, just a day after signing for the North London club.
There is huge excitement among Spurs fans about what the 22-year-old can produce, but he is not even Tottenham’s only attacking signing from Man City in the last week.
While Savio missed the game against Newcastle this weekend with a knock, Omar Marmoush made his Tottenham debut from the start in the 2-0 defeat. The Egyptian was one of Spurs’ few bright sparks.
Richarlison deemed certain to exit Tottenham before September 1
Some outlets have reported over the past few days that Marmoush’s arrival at Spurs could open the door for Richarlison to exit the club.
Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist are now certain that Tottenham’s top scorer from last season will not be at N17 at the start of next month. Here is what the pair said on talkSPORT:
Alan Brazil: “I think Richarlison is a certainty to leave.”
Ally McCoist: “Yes, I would guess that would be the case.”
Brazil: “He looks a moody git, doesn’t he? He’s really moody, like the whole world’s against him. Sometimes he looks as if he’s like, ‘I don’t care,’ and then other times he can be brilliant, but he’s gone.”
McCoist: “I think he’s leaving. I don’t think there’s any doubt about that, I think he’s going to go to pastures new.”
De Zerbi admitted after the Newcastle game that Richarlison has asked to leave Tottenham, along with both Pape Sarr and Kevin Danso. It has now emerged that Everton could be the destination too…
Richarlison could return to Everton
According to reports, Everton are in regular contact with Tottenham over Richarlison as the Toffees remain on the lookout for a new number nine.
Some sources have claimed that Spurs would want close to £40m for the Brazilian international.
The latest reports state that Richarlison could be heading back to Everton in a double deal, with Iliman Ndiaye joining Spurs.
One man who will be happy with the former Everton man’s departure is Jamie O’Hara, who called for Richarlison to never play for Tottenham again after the striker’s poor performance against Brentford.
