Omar Marmoush’s arrival at Tottenham Hotspur could open the exit door for another big-name player in the final week of the transfer window.

Tottenham are on the verge of adding serious firepower to their forward line by completing a double raid of one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.

Omar Marmoush is expected to follow Savinho to Spurs, with the Lilywhites expected to sign the forward on an initial loan deal with a mandatory £50m purchase option.

The Egypt international’s arrival provides a much-needed boost to Tottenham’s forward line, which struggled for goals last season.

Richarlison could exit Tottenham following Omar Marmoush’s arrival

TEAMtalk reveals that Tottenham’s decision to add Marmoush to the squad will have consequences on the future of Richarlison.

The experienced striker is now considering his future at N17, and could seek a move away from the club before the window slams shut.

A return to Everton is on the cards for Richarlison, with the Toffees keen on exploring a move to re-sign their former player.

However, the 29-year-old’s departure will very much depend on Spurs and the player first reaching an agreement on the next step, with De Zerbi’s men currently focused on bolstering their attack.

Spurs will not sell Richarlison on the cheap

The Brazilian international has just 12 months left in his contract, but according to Alasdair Gold, Tottenham have the option to extend Richarlison’s deal by one more year.

That means that the club are not under major pressure to sell him before September 1 or accept any cut-price offers.

According to Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe, Spurs are demanding a fee close to £40m to sell Richarlison, who ended last season as their top scorer.
