Tottenham fans are full of praise for Spurs as they look set to complete a £20 million sale for an academy player who never made a single competitive appearance for the first team.
Tottenham Hotspur have not been scared to move on academy stars this summer transfer window as they continue rebuilding their squad.
So far, the Lilywhites have sold Alfie Devine for £6 million, Tynan Thompson for £8 million and Will Lankshear for £20 million.
That has seen a whopping £34 million generated from academy sales alone, but that figure looks set to rise even further.
Tottenham close in on Ashley Phillips sale to Middlesbrough
That is according to reports claiming that Middlesbrough, who signed Lankshear, have now agreed another deal with Spurs for 21-year-old centre-back Ashley Phillips.
The sale of the young centre-back is expected to fetch Tottenham £20 million, with Boro initially paying £7 million before a further £13 million in add-ons.
Should the sale be completed, it would see Tottenham’s income from academy sales rise to £44 million this summer.
The latest piece of business has now left Spurs fans full of praise for their club as they continue to complete impressive sales this summer.

Spurs could raise even more through player sales
The sale of players this summer is expected to lead to Spurs securing more new signings, according to reports.
Phillips’ sale could quickly be followed by the departure of Cristian Romero, who is attracting significant transfer interest.
Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are understood to be pursuing the Spurs captain, who is currently valued at £34 million.
Should a deal be completed, Spurs would have received a whopping £167.1 million from sales this transfer window.
