Jamie Donley has made a fine start to life at Luton Town following his loan move from Tottenham Hotspur late in the window.

Donley is one of 17 Spurs players out on loan at the moment, with many of the club’s talented teenagers having been sent to the EFL to get valuable game time.

It is a particularly important season for the 21-year-old midfielder, who struggled to make a big impact on loan at Stoke City and Oxford United in the Championship last term.

Donley has returned to League One this term, joining Luton, and he has already made a huge mark at the club.

The Spurs academy graduate picked up an assist in his full debut for Luton against Stockport County, and was one of his side’s most creative players on show.

Unsurprisingly, Donley started again in his favoured number 10 role against his former loan club, Leyton Orient, on Saturday, and he punished the O’s.

The attacking midfielder got on the end of a Luton counter-attack on 20 minutes and, from a tight angle, fired a low shot at the near post, which went through the Orient goalkeeper.

Mikey Moore announces himself in the Bundesliga in fine fashion

Another one of Tottenham’s highly-rated young starlets has made a brilliant start to his stint in the Bundesliga.

Mikey Moore came off the bench at half-time to register an assist in his debut for Koln, who fell to a 4-1 defeat away at Stuttgart.

The 19-year-old Spurs man featured as a number 10 and was by far Köln’s most threatening player on the pitch, and Tottenham fans will be hoping that is a sign of things to come from the teenager this term.
