Nottingham Forest have reportedly opened early talks over Lucas Bergvall, with the Tottenham midfielder attracting strong interest as the Reds look at replacements for Elliot Anderson.
Spurs Web believe Tottenham Hotspur could generate as much as £250 million from player sales this summer, given the level of interest in several of their squad members.
Of course, playing a big role in that figure is Lucas Bergvall, who has requested to leave Tottenham this summer, with Spurs valuing the Swede at around £45m-£50m.
The sale of certain players would definitely allow Tottenham to raise much-needed funds and free up room for new additions.
Spurs currently have Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali on their radar, alongside several other exciting options, which could see Tottenham spend as much as £225m in the coming weeks.

Lucas Bergvall wants to leave Tottenham
Since requesting to leave Tottenham, Lucas Bergvall has generated a lot of interest not just from sides in the Premier League but also from clubs across Europe.
Spurs Web has already reported on Bayern Munich monitoring Bergvall, while Chelsea and Aston Villa are also in the mix after enquiring about the 20-year-old.
We also reported that Bergvall could become part of a transfer domino effect, with Manchester City eyeing a move for Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, and any sale expected to spark a move for Bergvall.
According to TeamTalk, early talks between Forest and Bergvall are now said to be underway. It is claimed that Forest sees Bergvall as an exciting long-term prospect who could add creativity to their midfield, while the club’s willingness to offer guaranteed minutes makes them an attractive option for the Swede.
Spurs face strong competition for Lucas Bergvall
The Premier League side are not expected to have an easy run at the Spurs midfielder, making it crucial for them to move quickly if they want to secure a deal.
Sides in Germany and Italy are also said to be keen on Bergvall as they appreciate his technical quality.
Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Napoli, Inter Milan and AC Milan are all understood to be monitoring Bergvall’s situation closely.
Should Bergvall depart for the reported £45m-£50m fee, he would be in the top three most expensive sales for Tottenham in the last decade.
