Another Brazilian side has entered the race for Tottenham striker Richarlison as the transfer window in Brazil enters its final stretch.
Richarlison’s contract at Tottenham Hotspur is set to expire in the summer of next year, and the Lilywhites are looking to ship him off.

Spurs Web reported earlier this week that interest in Richarlison has come from Brazil, with Vasco keen on his services. The Brazilian forward is even understood to have given the green light to a move to the South American club.
Following those reports, Vasco insider outlet Atenção Vascaínos has now revealed the Brazilian side is set to reopen conversations with the striker after he gave a negative answer to Vasco two months ago.
Richarlison is a fan of Vasco, and supporters have taken to social media to urge their club to bring the Tottenham forward in.
The efforts of the fans over the past few days have had an impact on Richarlison, who never planned to return to Brazil at this stage of his career.
However, given the striker’s rather unusual situation at Tottenham, journalist Guilherme Frossard says that position could now be reconsidered.
But there have been contrasting reports stating that Richarlison has no desire to return to Brazil. Those claims have now been played down by the player’s adviser, according to NewsColina.
Atlético Mineiro enter race but loan move blocked by FIFA rules
Regardless, competition remains in the race for Richarlison, with fellow Brazilian side Atlético Mineiro having contacted the Spurs forward to understand the conditions required to sign him.
It is understood that Mineiro want to sign Richarlison on loan. Savio did reveal that he had tried to convince Richarlison to move to Mineiro instead, but the forward has his head fixed on a move to Vasco.
While a loan move is being considered by Mineiro, sources have since revealed that Richarlison cannot be loaned out by Tottenham due to FIFA loan rules.
FIFA’s rules do not allow for more than six players to be loaned out overseas from a federation – a quota Spurs have already reached.
As a result, any departure for the forward would have to be a permanent transfer. Time is of the essence for Richarlison, with the Brazilian transfer window set to close this Friday.
