A new report from Brazil has provided an update on Tottenham’s pursuit of Savinho and what the winger is thinking about swapping Manchester City for the North London club.
As Spurs fans will be well aware, the speculation linking Savinho with a move to Spurs has gone into hyperdrive over the last week.
Reports indicate that Man City have opened the door for the winger to join Tottenham after blocking the 22-year-old’s switch to the North London club back in the January window.
In fact, Xavi Simons has thrown a big hint on social media that Savinho is on his way to Spurs, with the Dutchman having played with the Brazilian at PSV Eindhoven previously.

Tottenham are preparing their first Savinho offer
ESPN Brazil have now reported that the Man City winger is on his way out of the Etihad Stadium, but he is ‘determined’ to remain in English football.
The outlet claims that ‘above all’, Savinho is keen to bolster the Tottenham squad ahead of their first full season under Roberto De Zerbi.
The report adds that Spurs have already initiated first contact to sign the former Girona man and are now working to send their first official offer, which is expected to be submitted over the coming days.
Why Spurs are confident about landing Savinho
ESPN Brazil are not the only ones to report on the player’s desire to move to North London.
The same information was carried a couple of days ago by TEAMtalk, who claimed that Savinho has told Man City about his ‘clear preference’ to join Tottenham.
It was alleged that Spurs are making ‘significant progress’ in their efforts to agree a deal for the winger and are ‘optimistic’ of securing the transfer.
