Reflecting on the significance of completing another major deal, Tonali’s agent revealed his optimism over the midfielder’s reunion with Roberto De Zerbi, suggesting the pair can enjoy a successful partnership together in north London.
The Italian described his joy, saying: “It is a great satisfaction, even though we have done it before.”
His agent also covered De Zerbi’s role, expressing belief that the duo will have fun together at the London club: “He is happy and has reunited with Roberto (De Zerbi, ed.), who is a great coach. I think together they will entertain us.”
Spurs still expected to add more despite £237m spend
Despite splashing the cash so far this summer, having spent a total of £237 million, Tottenham are expected to secure further additions.
The north Londoners remain keen on bolstering their attack this summer after strengthening both in midfield and defence.
