Tottenham Hotspur are showing no signs of stopping their big spending this summer as they look to hand Roberto De Zerbi a competitive squad for his first full season in charge.
After they avoided relegation to the Championship by the skin of their teeth last season, many senior Tottenham officials promised that the club would be ambitious this summer.
They are certainly living up to their promise, having already shelled out a huge sum to bring six players through the door, with all their signings having a lot of Premier League experience under their belt.
Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe shared that more mega-money signings are on the cards for Spurs this summer following their deals for Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, and another reliable source has now backed this up.

Tottenham are expected to continue showing ambition in the transfer market
Journalist Ben Jacobs has now asserted that the Spurs hierarchy are ready to continue showing ambition over the coming weeks as they look to make further top-class additions.
He backed up what we have heard from other sources over recent weeks by stating that additions to their forward line are now a priority for Tottenham, revealing that they want to add a left-winger and a striker to their squad.
Speaking on GiveMeSport’s Market Madness podcast, Jacobs said: “As we’ve just heard, Tottenham are going to be ambitious. They had £100 million of capital injected into the club. They want a left winger, very possibly a number nine, too, so keep an eye on Tottenham right up until deadline day, because there are more signings to come.”
How much more money can Spurs afford to spend this summer?
Tottenham have already spent £237m on six new players this summer, which is a club record outlay in any one transfer window.
However, BBC Sport revealed a few days ago that Spurs can spend another £250m this summer without falling foul of financial regulations.
Additionally, Tottenham are expected to make several high-profile player sales, which could further add to their transfer kitty.
