Tottenham Hotspur have raided West Ham United for the second time this window, this time for an academy midfielder.

Spurs secured Mateus Fernandes for £85m from West Ham earlier this summer following the Hammers’ relegation from the Premier League.

That was one of six new players Tottenham have added to their senior side this summer, and reports indicate the Lilywhites are looking to add more forwards to their squad before the window slams shut.

However, despite the significant rebuild they have undertaken to their first-team squad, they have not taken their eye off the ball in terms of academy recruitment, with the club continuing to poach top young talent.

Tottenham have won the race to sign West Ham’s Isaac Allen

Football Insider have now revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have won the race to sign Hammers academy starlet Isaac Allen.

The 15-year-old midfielder is rated extremely highly by talent spotters across the country, with Spurs seeing off competition from several clubs to win the race for his signature.

Allen is not only rated as one of the standout names in West Ham’s academy, but he also captains England’s U15 side.

He will now work with the top young talents at Hotspur Way over the next few years, and the hope at Tottenham would be that he can become a potential first-team prospect in the future.

Spurs have significantly boosted their academy ranks this summer

Allen becomes the latest of several talented teenagers to arrive at Spurs this summer, with the club significantly bolstering their academy.

The Lilywhites have completed the signing of Kwasi Senyah from Wolves, while Spurs have also signed 18-year-old Kyran Thompson after he departed Arsenal’s academy.

Tottenham also secured the services of highly-rated midfielder Cole Ramsey after he left Aston Villa’s academy earlier this summer.
