There has been a new update on the future of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jean-Matteo Bahoya, who Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in.
While there is optimism at Tottenham over winning the race for Savinho, the Brazilian is not the only attacker expected to arrive through the door this summer.
Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe has revealed that Roberto De Zerbi wants to sign two wingers for either flank this summer ahead of his first full season in charge of the North Londoners.
Over the last couple of weeks, reports from Germany have claimed that Tottenham are exploring a move for Jean-Matteo Bahoya, who managed four goals and four assists in 37 appearances for Frankfurt last term.

Eintracht Frankfurt have made a decision on Tottenham target Jean-Matteo Bahoya
Last week, TEAMtalk suggested that Spurs may find it hard to secure the France U21 international as Frankfurt are not keen on selling their versatile attacker this summer.
However, a new report from Bild (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now offered the Lilywhites a boost in their pursuit of Bahoya.
The report explains that Frankfurt need to carry out a major overhaul of their squad and raise funds this summer after missing out on European football.
Bahoya is one of three players that the Bundesliga club are looking to sell to the Premier League in order to facilitate their rebuild.
The update adds that Tottenham Hotspur are ‘particularly interested’ in the winger, who can also operate as a number 10 or a striker.
Bahoya is famous for breaking a Bundesliga speed record in 2025. The 19-year-old clocked in at 23.09 mph (37.16 km/h) in Eintracht Frankfurt’s game against Bochum in 2025. This was the first time a player had broken the 23 mph mark since Bundesliga records began. Even Usain Bolt averaged only 23.35 mph (37.58 km/h) during his world-record-breaking 100 metre sprint in 2009.
Spurs find out Frankfurt’s asking price for Bahoya
Bild say that Frankfurt are hoping to raise €85m-€100m (£73.3m-£86.3m) from the sales of Bahoya, Arthur Theate and Hugo Larsson.
For the 21-year-old winger wanted by Tottenham, the German side are expecting to raise around €35m-€40m (£30.2m-£34.5m) this summer.
The report adds that De Zerbi’s men could take advantage of Frankfurt’s financial situation to secure a deal for the former Angers man.
