Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting with excitement after reports revealed that Eli Junior Kroupi has been added to the club’s shortlist of attacking targets this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur have already spent a whopping £137m after completing five signings so far this summer transfer window.
Mateus Fernandes stands as the most expensive addition, with Spurs agreeing an £85m deal with West Ham United after lengthy negotiations.
Jan Paul van Hecke’s £52m move is the second biggest, while Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka all arrived on free transfers.
Despite those five signings, more business is expected, with Spurs working on bringing in at least three further players before the window closes.

Tottenham fans react to Junior Kroupi links
Another midfielder remains on Tottenham’s radar, but forwards are just as high on the list as the club continues to bolster their ranks.
Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe has revealed that Eli Junior Kroupi is among the forwards on Spurs’ shortlist. The 20-year-old enjoyed a stellar first season in the Premier League, scoring 13 goals for Bournemouth as the Cherries clinched European football.
These links have left many Spurs fans excited, with supporters sharing their reactions on social media.
One fan said: “Genuinely talking about a title challenge if he arrives. I’m sure it’s miles off currently though so I’ll park it.”
Another responded: “Nah who tf have we become? Him and Nusa, I think we might actually become a threat…”
Others were less convinced, with one fan commenting: “Yeaaah won’t even get excited for this. Not happening.”
A fourth added: “Another one for the list that won’t happen. Bournemouth won’t sell him cheap and we’ll end up with a loan or nothing again.”
Meanwhile, another supporter argued: “What are you talking about mate, we seem to be getting all the ‘we’ll never get him’ signings. I just hope this interest is on the back of willingness from him to come to us.”
A final fan kept it simple: “Drop the bag ENIC.”
Spurs know Bournemouth will demand a huge fee
A move for Kroupi is certainly an ambitious one for Tottenham given his age and potential at just 20 years old.
Kroupi would definitely command a significant fee if Bournemouth were to let him go this summer. Tottenham know this from experience, having done business with the Cherries in 2024 when they signed Dominic Solanke after his own standout campaign.
At the time, Solanke became Spurs’ record signing at £65m, and that deal could serve as a benchmark for what Bournemouth might demand if they are to part ways with Kroupi.
