Tottenham fans react angrily as club ‘makes contact’ with Randal Kolo Muani

Tottenham fans are all saying the same thing after recent reports linked the north Londoners with a move for Randal Kolo Muani.

Reports have it that following the acquisition of Sandro Tonali for £100 million from Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur remains very active in the summer transfer window.

Attention is expected to turn to the forward areas, with Spurs still keen on strengthening out wide and at centre-forward.

The likes of Crysencio Summerville, Rafael Leao and Savinho have since emerged as the Lilywhites’ top targets, while Junior Kroupi and Dusan Vlahovic stand as centre-forwards Spurs are keen on.

It remains to be seen who Tottenham make a move for, but that has not stopped the rumour mill from going into full swing.

Tottenham linked with Randal Kolo Muani as fans react strongly

According to French outlet L’Équipe, there seems to be an interesting development in Spurs’ search for forward options.

That is because the publication states that contact has been made between Randal Kolo Muani and Tottenham. However, the Parisian forward has also made contact with Juventus.

Muani, of course, spent last season on loan with Spurs and has since returned to his parent club Paris Saint-Germain.

The latest report has now sparked a major uproar from Tottenham fans, who are voicing the same frustrations.

One fan took to social media to write: “Nope Nope don’t need another piece of dead wood back.. be gone !” Another added: “I SWEAR TO GOD SPURS. DON’T RUIN OUR TRANSFER WINDOW BY SIGNING THIS LAZY F**KER”

A third fan stated: “Its not April 1st yet buddy” Another supporter chimed in with a joke: “Contact to clear his locker out hopefully??? 🤦🏻‍♂️”

One more commented: “Assume to come and collect his things 😂” While a final added: “Contact with a 20 foot barge pole, I would assume.”

The response from Tottenham fans is not entirely surprising given the performances from Kolo Muani last season in a Lilywhite shirt.

The Frenchman was pretty underwhelming for most of the campaign, leaving a lot to be desired as he never made any notable impact.

Just in terms of output alone, Muani was one of the worst forwards at the club last season, managing just one goal and one assist from 30 Premier League appearances.

After such a dismal return, it is no surprise that fans are not keen on the Frenchman returning to north London.
