Mohammed Kudus continues his rehabilitation at Tottenham as he seeks to return to action in time for the start of next season.

The Ghanaian made an excellent start to life at Tottenham following his move from West Ham last summer and was arguably the Lilywhites’ best attacker until his injury in January.

Kudus was initially expected to return to action in April but suffered another setback, which ruled him out of the rest of the campaign.

The injury meant that the Spurs winger also missed out on Ghana’s World Cup squad and instead watched from home as his teammates played out a 0-0 draw with England on Tuesday night.

Tottenham’s Mohammed Kudus posts update ahead of new season

It was revealed by journalist Matt Law a couple of weeks ago that Kudus is expected to be fit for the start of Tottenham’s 2026-27 season, with the Lilywhites kicking off their campaign with a clash away at Brentford on August 22.

It appears the 22-year-old is certainly working hard this summer to ensure that he gives himself the best chance of being ready for the new season.

Kudus posted an update on Instagram showing him at the gym, with the Tottenham star including the caption: “The marathon continues.”

Kudus is excited about playing under Roberto De Zerbi

The former Hammers star is yet to feature under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, with Thomas Frank being in charge the last time he featured for the Lilywhites.

De Zerbi has admitted he sees Kudus as a ‘crucial’ player’, and the Italian may now finally get the chance to work with the winger in the training ground over the coming weeks.

Kudus has indicated on social media that he is excited to work with the new Tottenham boss, and he will be hoping to catch the 46-year-old’s eye in pre-season.
