Mohammed Kudus has teased Tottenham fans regarding what the upcoming season could have in store as the player steps up his return from injury.

Kudus made an excellent start to life at Spurs following his move from West Ham last summer, but his season was cut short by a major injury in January.

The Tottenham winger suffered another setback in April just as he was nearing a return, which meant that he did not get to play under Roberto De Zerbi.

The injury also ruled the 25-year-old out of the World Cup, but Kudus has stepped up his return over recent weeks, as he aims to get back to fitness for the new season.

Mohammed Kudus teases Tottenham fans with confident statement

The winger was the only attacker who impressed during Thomas Frank’s short time at Spurs, despite being part of a team which struggled to create chances in open play.

Tottenham fans are understandably excited about what Kudus can produce as part of a more functional attacking unit under De Zerbi.

The former Hammers star is seemingly extremely motivated to make up for his lost time and have a big season, as evidenced by his latest social media post.

In response to the Tottenham fan account, Hotspur Reports, suggesting that they cannot wait to see Kudus back, the Ghanaian responded on X with: “We will be there”.

Kudus and Roberto De Zerbi could be a match made in heaven

When he first arrived at Spurs, De Zerbi admitted he sees Kudus as a ‘crucial’ player’ in the way he wants his Tottenham side to play.

Kudus has indicated on social media that he is excited to work with the new Tottenham boss, as the winger looks to step up his recovery and get back to the pitch in six months.

However, the winger may have more competition for his place in the side with Spurs eyeing moves for several big-name wide players across Europe.
