Tottenham Hotspur have now confirmed their third sale of the summer transfer window as they continue what is a major rebuild.
Many Tottenham Hotspur fans will be pinching themselves just to come back down to earth after watching their club’s transfer activity this summer.
Spurs have spent a staggering £237 million (€278m) in less than a month acquiring new signings as they work hard to bolster their first-team squad.
Six new additions in the form of Marcos Senesi (free), Andy Robertson (free), Martin Dubravka (free), Jan Paul van Hecke (£52 million), Mateus Fernandes (£85 million), and Sandro Tonali (£100 million) represent the business completed so far by the Lilywhites.
Thus far, Tottenham’s transfer activity has already ranked as the club’s second biggest summer window, and the market has barely been open for a month.

Tottenham complete third summer sale
However, while Spurs remain focused on strengthening their squad, attention has also turned to departures. Tottenham have already sold two players, with Alejo Veliz and Luka Vuskovic moving on.
Vuskovic is set to join Brighton for £50 million (€58.6m), which is the third biggest sale in Tottenham history, while Veliz has joined Brazilian side Bahia for £7.7 million (€9m).
The Lilywhites have now confirmed their third sale, revealing that centre-back Radu Dragusin has joined Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season.
Following his loan move, Fiorentina are expected to complete the permanent signing of Dragusin, paying Spurs £21.4 million (€25m), making his exit the second biggest sale of the summer so far.
Tottenham wrote: ‘The deal also includes an obligation to make the move to I Viola permanent if specific performance-based criteria is met.’
Dragusin’s time at Spurs and what comes next
Dragusin joined Tottenham in the winter of 2024 and went on to make 48 appearances for the club across two years.
However, he never truly established himself at the back during his time in north London, with a serious ACL injury in 2025 derailing his progress even further.
It is clear game time would have been limited had he remained at Spurs, given the depth at centre-back following the arrival of two new centre-backs.
Jan Paul van Hecke and Marcos Senesi have both joined, only adding to the competition and making it harder for the Romanian to break into the squad, which makes his switch even more understandable.
