Tottenham Hotspur are about to launch their third and final offer for Brighton’s Jan Paul van Hecke.
Tottenham have seen two offers turned down for Van Hecke, with the second one reportedly worth £50m.
However, that has not deterred the Lilywhites, who are now preparing a third offer for the Brighton centre-back, as they aim to reunite him with Roberto De Zerbi.
Van Hecke shares a close relationship with the Tottenham boss, and a new update has shed light on what Spurs are thinking about their chances of clinching a deal.

Tottenham confident third Jan Paul Van Hecke offer will be accepted
Voetbal Primeur have now claimed that Tottenham’s third offer for the Netherlands international will be their final attempt.
The Lilywhites are persisting due to the 26-year-old’s desire to link up with De Zerbi, and are not expected to have any problems on personal terms.
The North London club are confident that their third offer for Van Hecke will be accepted by Fabian Hürzeler’s men.
However, the report does not mention how much Tottenham are planning to offer for the Dutchman, who has just a year left on his deal at the Amex Stadium.
Why Brighton are under pressure to accept Spurs’ offer
According to a recent update from TEAMtalk, the Seagulls star has already indicated that Tottenham is his preferred destination following conversations with De Zerbi.
In fact, the report claimed that Van Hecke’s representatives have informed his other suitors that his client wants to join Spurs.
As a result, it appears that Tottenham are the only ones at the table right now, and given the 26-year-old’s contract situation, the South Coast club are under pressure to accept the incoming offer.
