There has been a significant update on the future of rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Crysencio Summerville, whose future is up in the air after West Ham’s relegation.

Tottenham have shored up their backline with the additions of Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, and they are now seemingly working on reinforcing their forward line.

Spurs are now in talks over a deal for Man City star Savinho, but he is not the only Premier League winger on the Lilywhites’ wishlist.

It has been widely reported that Tottenham are looking to poach Summerville from their fierce rivals after staying in the Premier League at the expense of the Hammers.

West Ham’s plans for Crysencio Summerville revealed as Tottenham face competition

A new update in The Athletic has revealed that West Ham are desperate to keep the likes of Mateus Fernandes and Jarrod Bowen at the club after their relegation, but that is not the case with Summerville.

The report claims that the 24-year-old is expected to leave the London Stadium before the start of next season.

While that is good news for Spurs, the update also reveals that Aston Villa have now entered the race to sign the Dutch winger.

Unai Emery’s men are looking to bolster their squad ahead of their return to the Champions League, and their entry into the race for Summerville may be bad news for the Lilywhites.

How much is Summerville expected to cost this summer?

A report from the Netherlands suggested a week ago that Tottenham were preparing an opening offer for Summerville, but the value of the club’s expected bid was not revealed.

Just a couple of days ago, TEAMtalk asserted that West Ham are holding out for £35m for the Spurs target, who they paid £25m to sign from Elland Road two years ago.

The same update revealed that AC Milan had also set their sights on Summerville as they scour the market for a potential replacement for Rafael Leao.
