Tottenham Hotspur are making progress towards a deal for Savinho and have just taken a significant step towards completing the Man City star.

Over the last few days, several reliable sources have claimed that Spurs are stepping up their pursuit of Savinho after settling on him as their top winger target.

In fact, The Daily Mail even confidently asserted a few days ago that Tottenham will sign the Brazilian in a deal worth £65m, with the two clubs working on finalising the sale.

Meanwhile, the Man City star has continued to throw cryptic hints regarding a move to N17, which has given Tottenham fans hope that a deal may not be far away.

Savinho has agreed personal terms with Tottenham

Journalist Nicolo Schira has now taken to social media to reveal that the 22-year-old has agreed personal terms with the North London club.

The journalist said that Savinho has agreed to sign a five-year deal with Tottenham with an option of a one-year extension.

He added that Roberto De Zerbi’s side are now ‘pushing’ to strike a deal with Man City, and are ready to pay €80m (£68m) for the former Girona man.

Schira wrote on X: “Tottenham are pushing to sign Savinho from Manchester City and are ready to pay €80m for the winger, who has given his availability to THFC for a contract until 2031 + an option for 2032.”

One factor may be holding up Savinho’s switch to Spurs

However, Fabrizio Romano has suggested that the winger’s move to Tottenham may be being held up due to developments at the Etihad Stadium.

He explained that Man City want to sign a replacement first before finalising Savinho’s sale to Spurs.

However, Romano made it clear that the player is keen to complete a move to Tottenham and is prioritising linking up with De Zerbi’s side ahead of the new campaign.
